Breakfast on the Bridges! (for free!)

Guess what I just found thanks to this post on Joe Bike’s blog? That’s right, volunteers at SHIFT, Portland’s premier participant-driven, post-critical mass majority, give away pastries and coffee from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on every Friday of the month (and on every Friday in June). Why? Simply to say thanks. Volunteer bike-commuters/bike-lovers simply gather to reward Portland’s thousands of daily bike-commuters for their dedication to the bike, to the environment, to fun and creativity, etc. Gotta love it! Check out this video for an up-close look at the operation!

    Awesome! That sounds excellent.

P.S. I spent most of the afternoon cycling in short jean cut-offs and, a t-shirt and shoes without socks. I felt closer to you. Bahahaha.
